The Parks

Magic Kingdom

The Magic Kingdom is the most visited theme park in the world, and for good reason! Have breakfast in Cinderella’s castle, give Mickey a high five, and hold on for your life on the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. Magic Kingdom has more attractions than any other park at Walt Disney World and so many shows like Happily Ever After fireworks show, the Festival of Fantasy parade, as well as extra paid events such as Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party or Villains After Hours.

Epcot

EPCOT stands for Experimental Prototype Community Of Tomorrow and Walt Disney wanted it to be an actual functioning community. While that didn’t happen, Epcot still represents our future and our present communities by celebrating progress and cultures from around the World. At Epcot, you can soar around the world on Soarin’, go under the sea with Nemo and see real fish at the aquarium, and visit 11 different countries in one day in the World Showcase.

Hollywood Studios

Hollywood Studios has come a long way since its conception as MGM Studios. Now the home of both Toy Story Land and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, spend the day at Hollywood Studios immersing yourself in the movies! Ride the only roller coaster with an inversion at Disney: Rock’n Roller Coaster, check in to the Tower of Terror hotel (watch out for the elevator!), and drink blue milk with Chewy and the gang on the planet Batuu.

Animal Kingdom

The newest of Walt Disney World’s 4 main parks, Animal Kingdom was designed as both a theme park and a fully functioning zoo. Kilimanjaro Safaris is not to be missed to see African animals such as giraffes, lions, elephants, and crocodiles. The kids will love Dinoland USA and the whole family can visit the alien planet of Pandora: World of Avatar!

Disney Springs

Disney Springs is home to dozens of incredible restaurants, unique shopping that you won’t find anywhere else, and family friendly entertainment. No ticket is required to go and you can easily spend a whole day shopping, bowling, watching a movie, or riding a “carboat.”

Blizzard Beach & Typhoon Lagoon

Walt Disney World has 2 water parks: Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon. You can purchase admission separately or add admission to your regular park tickets (usually cheaper!)

The Resorts

Moderate Resorts

The Moderate category at Walt Disney World is a great mix of affordability and convenience. They are closer to the parks than value resorts, usually offer some additional means of transportation (like the Skyliner or boat). Moderate resorts are large and sprawling with tons of activities for families. You’ll find surrey bikes, boat rentals, arcades, campfires, and so much more here!
